Concerned by employee practices. Got a call (and video) from my fiancé of one of Hoger’s drivers following, cat-calling, and harassing her. I understand rehab facilities are there to help people, but how can you do that if your personnel exhibits poor behavior???!?!

I would give them a zero star rating if I could. I wanted to leave the womens facility and they refused to let me leave, wouldn't give me my cell phone, or allow me to make calls to make arrangements for someone to pick me up, I even tried to call 911 before they snatched the phone out of my hand, and they kept my drivers license. They dropped me off at a gas station in the middle of nowhere in Lake Wales. I can attest that the only treatment you receive is addict on addict counseling, you are forced to go out and sell "cakes" all day and you are not allowed to return until all are sold. Most days they return at 7 or 8 o'clock at night. You do this 6 days a week. In the womens facility the director's 8 year old daughter, and sometimes her infant son, would stay all day with the residents who stayed behind usually because they were detoxing. The child was even lighting things on fire in one of the bathrooms they day before I left. Legal or not it is very irresponsible as a parent to leave a child in that type of atmosphere. The only assistance they give you is help filing food stamps, which they put under their name and you have no access to it and they receive the benefits. There are NO professionals that come in to counsel, only preachers to tell you how great god is. This place is a total sham and should investigated and shut down.

Hogar resa saved my life, it helped me to become a better man and Ive sence been offered jobs at car dealerships because of my vocal skills not to forget that I'm very thankful to Carmelo and all the leaders in the program who never gave up on me

I recently met three members of Hogar R.E.S.A. at the Burger King restaurant in Avon Park. They were taking a break from selling their baked goods to support this ministry. If the character and humility of these young ladies is an indication of what Hogar R.E.S.A is doing then I must say I am impressed. We need more love and compassion in this country now than ever before. I look forward to bringing some supplies and donations to them soon and meeting the leaders of this organization in person. I would encourage others to go to Hogarresainc.com and give something to help. I have no affiliation with this organization but now that I have seen the results of their work I feel compelled to help in any way I can.

I brought my friend to the womens Hogar Resa and the ladies were so welcoming and warm. I was really happy to find a place where my friend can get the help she needs while she can also worship and enjoy church on Sundays. I can't wait to go visit her on family day. God is good.
