2015 October til December horrible experience the DON at that time Shirley Knight did everything she could to hide original orders from my surgeon. My hip reconstruction was a failure, solely due to their care. When first there I was to be non weight bearing, with two people helping me when up. They had me on a walker immediately. I did not know original orders at that time. A friend a few weeks later told me on the closet door was orders for my care. I addressed that with Knight, and later that night a woman, aid? Came in while they thought I was sleeping and took the orders down. Shirley Knight was a nightmare, cruel to me until I was discharged in wheelchair. In February 2016 I was fortunate to go to Indianapolis for a second reconstruction. Success and the dr there said no rehab! Went home with brace and wheelchair, after several months, with Memorial home care helping, I was able to learn to walk again. My walking is not perfect but am walking. Please do not go there unless able to care for yourself. I totally blame Knight for months of cruelty, and an unsuccessful surgery. I understand she is no longer there, wish I could have five minutes to tell her how she has effected me, both physically and mentally. I will never get over my treatment there. I have complained before, never even a nite of regret of my treatment. Nancy Hegland

Do not take your family members here. I had a family member here for a few weeks she is bedridden. She cannot do anything on her own and they did nothing to help rehabilitate her and since she wasn't making any progress insurance wouldn't pay for her to stay anymore... She's now at home and we're taking care of her. I am SO VERY DISGUSTED with how they were supposedly taking care of her. She is so completely raw on her private area and her rear, she has open sores and she is bleeding, I can barely even touch her!! They would not like they're mom or any family member to be treated like this but they are fine treating others this way. COMPLETELY DISGUSTED WITH THIS PLACE! AND THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED

Neglectful staff and incompetent doctors. My grandmother was "recovering" there from pneumonia. While frequently waiting over 40 minutes to an hour for staff to respond, see also developed bed sores during her stay. They randomly changed all her medications to different brands, some doses, and times that we are now trying to correct with her primary doctor, living facility and pharmacy. A few years ago when my grandfather stayed there. They left catheters to long causing painful and difficult removal. They forced so many antibiotics and pain-killers that he had constant hallucinations until we had to call an ambulance to get him out of their "care".
