I was just discharged yesterday after completing the 21 day program at New Start. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff was. From the techs and nursing staff to the people who lead our groups. Miss Dawn and Steve the social workers were especially FANTASTIC! Miss Ashley and Hillary who lead the activity groups were great ad well. If you need treatment I highly recommend coming here!

Like everyone else that gave a review my family wishes that there was a zero star. Trash talking staff, lies about policy before turning self in for mental care, better conditions in jail; you have rights that are followed in jail, no action taken until we set up a bed with another facility then they quickly put a hold on my family member they have to keep the beds full to keep the money coming in. Talk about kidnapping. According to the reviews this has been going on for awhile so I imagine there hasn't been much accountability unless they've been sued and asked for a non disclosure when there settled. I guess we'll see soon, I'll update. To all of the other one star people reviews I'll be reaching out with our family attorney and I'll update through this horrible process. I don't allow bullies to not take accountability..

20 years later and here I am.. this is a place from your nightmares. I can't have babies naturally because this place thought it would be a good idea to freeze up my cervix at 14 years old! Turns out I didn't have a legit reason to be there!!! Do you guys know why you were doing these things to a 14 year old???. I didn't. I STILL DON'T KNOW WHY YOU THOUGHT THIS WAS OK?!! I'm curious to know how many children were sterilized there in the late 90s?!?!

I have never personally been here. However I called to assist in getting a pt to their appointment and they didn't seem to care. I have also heard really questionable stories from former employees. Idaho deserves better. Famlies deserve better. We need to take mental health seriously and get these people the help they need instead of leaving them on the streets. I thought Intermountain was about helping the mentally ill... Im very disappointed with how little they seem to care or do fir the people that need them.

Horrid. DO NOT SEND ANYONE HERE. I was here a couple times a few years back on the adolescent unit and it was absolutely disgraceful. Horrible food, patients having mental breakdowns and staff not helping them. Overmedicating by doctors. Also i sincerely hope that Moe is not working there anymore. I remember everyone hated going to his groups and stated how anxious it made them. Mistreats patients and makes everyone uncomfortable. Should not be allowed to work with adolescents or adults.
