Welcome to my practice! I am so glad you are here! I offer individualized mental health/co-occurring/ substance abuse disorder counseling as well as other supportive services. Substance use disorder peer support groups, one on one peer recovery coaching services, and women's support group. Family coaching services and family groups coming soon! My name is Janice Eickholt-March and I am a fully licensed Masters level clinical social worker. I also am certified by the State of Michigan as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. I grew up on a farm in Chesaning, MIchigan where I learned the importance of hard work and dedication. I was raised with the idea that if you have the ability to help someone, you just jump in and do it. With that philosophy as the root of my upbringing, I have always been a helper and social worker by nature. I believe my purpose in life is to help others to work on the goals they want to achieve .Whether it is stopping the use of alcohol or drugs, working on managing depression or anxiety or working on figuring out what path you want to be on I will help you work on reaching the goals you set forth to work on! I am a graduate of Chesaning High School, Class of 2001. I received my undergraduate degree in Human Services from Baker College of Owosso in 2013 and completed my Masters in Social Work from Michigan State University in 2016. I have worked in many capacities over the years from community mental health, respite, residential treatment for substance abuse and severe mental illness. I have been working in substance abuse treatment at the outpatient level for nearly 10 years now, which is the root of my passion. If you are looking for a well rounded, down to earth therapist who will help you work on the goals you want to achieve, please feel free to contact the office to set up a meet and greet session to discuss what it is you are looking for. I utilize a holistic approach to ensure that people receive the treatment they deserve. My mission is to have my patients leave my office as the best version of themselves that they can be. Change is possible, we just have to take the first step. A few things about my practice..... I have a working partnership with Peer 360 Recovery Alliance who come to my office every Thursday at 6pm and hold an In-Person Peer Recovery support group. This group is FREE and open to the public. You do not need to be my patient in order to attend the Peer 360 group. If you don't want to come alone, bring a friend with you! All are welcome! Recovery Coaching services are also available to any patient at my office who needs additional support during their treatment episode. In person Recovery Coaching services are available for walk-ins every Monday from 10am-3pm with Peer 360 staff. You can call the office and schedule an appointment ahead of time to use Recovery Coaching services. Please call the office with any questions and directions about this service. I have worked in MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) for nearly a decade and while I do not have a physician or medical provider on staff, if you are in need of Medication Assisted Treatment, I do partner with and coordinate care with a few local providers who provide these services. If you are in need of MAT, please do not hesitate to call the office. I will assist you with getting placed in the appropriate level of care and will help you find a provider to work with. Psychiatry referrals are also available to those who qualify and request those services. If you or someone you know is in need of Narcan, it is available for pick-up anytime at the office. With the assistance of Peer 360 Recovery Alliance and Mid-State Health Network, I am able to have a supply of Narcan on site for anyone that might need it. If you are afraid or ashamed to go to the local pharmacy to obtain it, please call me at 810-818-7584 or send me an email to [email protected] to schedule a time for pick-up. You do not need to be my patient to access it! We are beginning a new partnership with FAN- Families Against Narcotics to begin providing Family Coaching Services and Family Support groups for my patients and for those living in the community. Details coming Spring 2022! Follow my Facebook page Janice Eickholt-March LMSW CADC for updates! I accept most insurances, which includes all Medicaid plans offered by the State of Michigan including straight Medicaid. I am also partnered with Multiple commercial insurances plans. ***Please note that if you are concerned about your ability to pay for services and you do not have insurance, there is a sliding scale based on your income for anyone without healthcare coverage. Payment plans are also available for those who are underinsured. No patient will be turned away based on their ability to pay for services. She is kind, supportive, compassionate, understanding and consistent. She has always gone above and beyond and has walked beside me through some of the most difficult, scary, and trying times of my recovery. ” “I have seen many therapists over the years and I have never been able to connect with any of them. Janice changed my view on therapy. She is the most down to earth therapist I have ever met which has allowed me to finally work on the things I needed to.5 stars”

Janice has the coolest office! It's paradise ✨️ plus she makes a dang good cup of coffee! I attended the free woman's group held in her office every other Saturday. It has been a wonderful outlet for me to meet other women. It also helps release stress and increase my overall mood ❤🙏🏻plus I've made some new friends! Janice is a blessing to all who meet her.

I've had the pleasure of working with Janice in a community mental health clinic setting over the course of several years. I observed her ability to work with clients struggling with mental health issues, substance use issues, and those needing assistance connecting to additional resources in their community. Janice is knowledgeable and compassionate while also being a straight shooter. She walks to the beat of her own drum and it definitely positively impacts her relationship with clients as a result. Janice is authentic and empathetic, and is able to connect with her clients in a genuine way. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking to improve their quality of life.
