John 3:17 Ministry

The scripture from John 3:17 describes the goal of this ministry, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”  Neither do we condemn you. Every person working with this ministry has either suffered personally with an addiction or has a close family member who has.  We have witnessed God through Jesus Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit to set individuals free. John 3:17 Ministry for Women's next phase of growth is an expansion of our facilities including residential dormitories, an administration building, and staff housing. In order to raise the funds for our proposed three-phase expansion, we need NEW influential partners who want to join in the fight against alcohol and drug addiction. Since the opening of John 3:17 in 2012, there have been 171 ladies graduate from our program. Every day, we receive calls from family members and ladies in need of our services. We hold a graduation celebration at least once a month.

I came to John 3:17 the first time in November 2016 and lasted a week and left. I just wasn't ready. Then my sister gave me 2 options to go back or she would wash her hands of me. Plus I was physically, mentally, emotionally tired. So I took that journey one and final time from Indiana to Newport Arkansas.I graduated the program April 9, 2018. I am coming upon 3 Years Sober April 9, 2020. God knew I needed John 3:17 and the Remmel Church and so many others who are involved. Each person showed me so much love. It came from a sincere place. There are no words that can Express my gratitude for each person who is and was involved in John 3:17. They are my forever family and I love them dearly.

John 3:17 is a gift from the Lord, Himself. The Administration, Board and Staff are such a blessing to allow God to work through them and help people in need. Our experience was well worth the time put into their program. Remmel Church is a group of loving, supportive and wonderful people who welcome all. Blessings to everyone associated with this program.

Our family was devastated, torn apart. I never thought I'd tell my daughter I was done with her. We took her boys from her. A little over a year later, she graduated from 3:17 and we are all better than ever!! The people at this ministry are amazing servants of God. As painful as it was, this last year has been the best thing that has ever happened to me and my family.

I entered John 317 at my lowest. Entering 2 weeks after my husbands death. I was scared and broken. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior April 5th 2016 and From that day Jesus worked on my heart and me. I surrendered it all to him and said Your will be done. Long story short I completed the year long program and went into Transition for a year with my kids. My relationships with family were restored , me and my kids were restored. All these things I believed were impossible we’re all possible with God. Never did I believe a 11 year meth addict would get sober and continue living it 4 years later! I have got to go into McPherson prison and share my testimony , I have been to regeneration in Colorado to share my story , I share it as often as I fell lead. 2 words that describe John 3:17 for me is Life Saving . I use the tools I learned in tho program and apply them To my life everyday . If you have a family member and she struggles with addiction I highly recommend John 3:17. The staff and the whole church people are amazing they accepted you with arms open wide .
