I have never had the pleasure of meeting with Kenneth Donaldson on a personal or professional level although I have had consistent interaction with him via his LinkedIn profile. Not only does Ken portray warmth, empathy, and compassion, but he shares very professional insight to most any relevant mental health topic. I have read his book, Marry Yourself First and it was extremely well written and is now on the shelf in my self-help collection. I work with clients from vulnerable populations that have dual diagnosis issues as well as having other barriers that have prevented them from getting their basic needs met. Counseling people in today's society, especially in the middle of a pandemic is extra challenging. Ken's consistent contributions with regard to the professional mental health community have, and continue to inspire me as I grow in my career. I highly recommend and suggest that you read his books and reach out to him for any type of help you may find necessary in these trying times.
