My 74-year-old mother arrived at Keswick for rehab on a Wednesday. On Thursday they assessed her. By Sunday she had a total of about 30 minutes of Physical therapy. She was giving OT to help her dress; she was tired and giving PT right after. She was left in her bed! None of the aids would get her out of bed! She is at risk of blood clots. They told her they cannot get her out of bed because there was only one aid on duty. The lack of attention during the first few days was shameful. The idea is to get her moving not sitting! Her doctor prescribed a stay at a rehabilitation hospital so that her recovery would supervised, and their medical needs attended to- THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. On Monday she asked for Pain meds i.e.. Tylenol. It was 5 hours later before they gave her Tylenol. Because they did not know she needed pain meds! There is no schedule for pt., pain meds etc. I am trying to contact doctors or someone to help me ,because she still has some time left in the facility.

The Communities for Life program has been so helpful to my family, as my mother wants to stay in her condo and maintain some independence. She had to stop driving, and there are no friends or family nearby to help with coordinating her needs. The staff have been able to accomplish a lot in a short time to stabilize what would have otherwise been a crisis. Thank you.

I recently completed a ceramics class with Sara and an art teacher. The class was well organized, materials were ready for each participate, teachers were patient and provided help as needed. We were adequately spaced and require to wear mask which were provided by Keswick upon entry along with temperature checks and washing of hands. The building was air condition as well. Overall experience was good.
