Keys Counseling is an innovative, community mental health agency dedicated to empowering and uplifting children and families in need in Northwest Indiana. It is a family-owned and operated S Corporation that has been in business since 2006. The CEO and director, as a husband and wife team of trained MSW’s, initially provided intensive home-based therapy, and casework in Laporte County. This dedicated company has since grown from a staff of two MSW’s with the dream to make a difference to its current status of over 70 active employees serving seven counties: Elkhart, St. Joseph, Marshall, Porter, Starke, LaPorte, Jasper, and Pulaski.

Keys Counseling specializes in child and family services treating children and adults with involvement in the Department of Child Services or juvenile delinquency legal systems. Keys Counseling advocates for community safety, family preservation, and emotional healing by addressing a wide range of mental health and relationship issues with an array of evidence-based strategies. The agency adheres to the principles of child welfare services and delivers an effective, strengths-based approach. We strive to stabilize, resolve problems, teach skills, and remove ourselves from cases as expediently as possible. When it is possible and clinically indicated, we link our clients to community organizations and systems for ongoing long-term support. We have built a reputation as a high intensity “can do” agency that will show up and provide the highest level of commitment to clients when they need it the most.
