not the best but not the worst it could be much better

Worked with L&P Services for over a decade, but this institution has degenerated into the worst mental health agency in the MOV. I have experienced dangerous mistakes with medication dosages, overpresciption of anti-anxiety meds that were HELL to discontinue, angry and confrontational therapists, a psychiatrist posting negative comments about people who receive government assistance and with certain mental health conditions on Facebook, ignoring or lack of communication with symptom reporting, and once, a full blown denial by a nurse that I was having a manic episode because it "wasn't in my chart". They are quite simply a disorganized, mismanaged mess. They cannot keep staff because of a toxic work environment and poor communication (I have heard this from multiple former employees), so always expect to wait at least a month for services, if not 3. Unless L&P Services is your only option, go ANYWHERE else. Your enemies deserve better than L&P Services.

My wife has been tortured by their poor care. Medical staff are the most poorly trained in my 50+ years. The front office will NOT consult or even make appointments if you call more than once and they will most certainly cut off all medications no matter the withdrawal or consequences. I wouldn't take my enemies there. Run from this place. The real mental deficiencies are the staff. 100%✓
