Lacombe Nursing Centre is dedicated to providing specialized rehabilitation and skilled nursing services in a caring, comfortable, and clean environment. Our Rehabilitation Unit, located in an exclusive part of the facility, is designed for those discharged from the hospital but require short-term skilled rehabilitation and nursing services for a successful transition back home. Our team consists of highly trained rehabilitation and nursing staff with a focus on short-term transitional goals as well as long-term quality of life needs for permanent placement. We believe the best outcomes in healthcare occur when you care about individuals, just as much as you provide the needed services for them. Your decision for skilled nursing services following an illness, injury, or surgery is a very important one that can affect your health and future quality of life. Our team of skilled nursing and rehabilitation professionals deliver physician-prescribed medical interventions for complex medical conditions to provide better experiences and outcomes. Our dedicated rehabilitation environment combines traditional rehabilitation services in a therapy space that also recreates familiar activities of daily living patients often encounter in their homes and communities. This philosophy is also demonstrated with the separate area, our Rehabilitation Unit, reserved for transitional, short-term stay. Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation model provides for transitional care and short-term stays while you recover and regain independence. The increased frequency of daily therapy treatment encounters per week maximize functional abilities and decrease your time away from home. Lacombe Nursing Centre provides clinically proven therapy programs to help you recover from many of the most common surgeries, procedures, and illnesses. While here, you will have access to therapy services up to 6 days per week to get you home faster. We also offer a full range of skilled nursing services and for long-term care stays as well. Lacombe Nursing Centre has been serving St. Tammany and the Greater New Orleans area since 1968. Lacombe Nursing Centre is known for being "a leader" when it comes to delivering quality medical care within a personal, caring atmosphere. Our facility, surrounded with majestic oak trees, is located within the in the small rural community of Lacombe, Louisiana. Not a place that I would trust to leave a family member. Very unorganized, not everyone wears a mask properly, only a few employees actually care about their job.

My mom is in this facility and she is very happy. She was in another facility in Slidell for a year and was unhappy. The staff is all very friendly and the home is very clean. Thank you to everyone at Lacombe Nursing Centre. Picture of Mom with two great grandkids.

I love the staff and the facilities at the nursing center. My mother in law was well cared for and comfortable when she passed. My mom recently needed care beyond what my family could handle. So naturally, we are trusting the Lacombe Nursing Center with her care.
