The Lancaster Freedom Center, Inc. (LFC) provides outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment services for individuals and families suffering from chemical addictions and mental health problems. The Lancaster Freedom Center’s outpatient programs are community based and offer long-term and flexible care for the client and the family. We have been providing outpatient and intensive outpatient program services to the Lancaster County community since 1989. It has always been our goal to provide quality, client-centered treatment to those we serve. To this end, we are consistently evaluating our programming and services.
Our program works with individuals aged 13 and up. It presents clients with information to assess their own using behaviors and make sensible decisions about the role of drugs and alcohol in their life. Mental health counseling including individual, couples, and family sessions are available. The staff at LFC has experience and educational training in both addictions and the mental health field. We are licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and practice in compliance with strict confidentiality laws through the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
The intensive outpatient program (IOP) fills the vacuum of care between unstructured outpatient visits and the expensive isolation of inpatient hospitalizations. As such, The Lancaster Freedom Center combines highly trained and experienced professionals with cost effectiveness, success, and caring. If inpatient treatment is needed, we are able to assist in the evaluation, referral, and admission process. Once approved by your funding source for inpatient services, we can help with the transition into a program such as a 28-day rehab, halfway house, recovery house, or partial hospitalization go as smoothly as possible.
