In July of 2021 my life was changed forever, I was suddenly thrust into a position of needing assistance to do the most basic of care. I, the caregiver, had now become the patient. I will be forever grateful for the staff at Life Beyond Barriers for helping me regain my independence, my confidence and the desire to keep pushing forward to reach my goals. Looking back on when I first started OT and PT therapy at LBB I am amazed at how far I have come with Julie, Kyle, Shannon and Lorena guiding me and giving me the courage to face and conquer the unknown. They have picked me up and put me back together more times than I can count. The individual attention and plan of care each staff member gives to their clients is genuine and well constructed. I leave every session feeling recharged and encouraged that I can handle life’s challenges and if I can’t I don’t have to do it alone, I have an entire team of people that will help me figure it out.

Recently I was asked why I continue to come back to PT and OT at LBB, to be honest, I'm not sure. It's definitely not the way the staff forms interpersonal relationships so well. For sure not the way we all have a good time and many laughs. Oh wait...maybe it is! The people at LBB, make LBB what it is. I have been to countless places for PT (we're talking over five, over a decade) and none of them compare to the team here. I have not only made the best choice for my medical care by staying with this group, but also have made life long friends within this team. The people who I have worked with really care about what they do and who they treat, it isn't "just a job" to these folks, it's who they are. To the PTs and OTs, past and present, I appreciate you and your willingness to work with me and to grow with me as I venture through this weird thing called life. I am forever grateful for the relationships created and for the work put forth from everyone to aid me in recovery and maintance, but also in the care from the people you are. From the bottom of my heart (I know, I know, I have one?) I thank you and love you all! :D

L.B.B. has become our family. Its hard to improve on perfection! Our experience has been very positive. The O.T. and P.T. therapist have been amazing for us physically and mentally. Also, the facility is well equipped and very clean! The administrative staff has also been exceptional including going “Beyond the Barriers” of helping all our need’s! “Shout out too Angie and Andrea!” We are very grateful and blessed to have the entire staff for working so hard in our behalf and we highly recommend L.B.B. ! I absolutely love LBB in TC. I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had 2 surgeries and radiation that they are helping me to recover from. I've worked with Kyle and April and someone else (sadly cant think of her name because I only saw her for a short time) for PT. Love Kyle, Love April and Love Angela at the front desk! Great staff and can tell its helping me to get back to my old self!

My son has OT and PT at life beyond barriers. They have been working so hard with him. The kindness and patience of his OT and PT is just incredible. It’s so wonderful seeing him make progress.
