I have enjoyed being here and they have being doing a wonderful job of helping get me back on my feet. They have helped me in my goal to return home, because there is no place like home! If I will ever need to come back to a facility I would come back to Life Care of Westlake! If you need a place to get you back on your feet you should come to Life Care Westlake. They spend time working with you, housekeeping is great and takes time to clean the rooms well. Dody is my aide and is also wonderful and takes the time to help me whenever I need it. Each and every person here is great!

The therapy dept. is very good. They got me at a point where I could go home. But the food could be improved, but they had lots of good alternative options. They had many fun activities to do. I really enjoyed the entertainment they provided. I really liked Michelle, Joy, and Meredith.

I have lived here for 4 years. The nursing staff takes very good care of me. The food is good except they don't cook the noodles enough. My room is neat and clean. I am not a social person so I don't attend activities. The bosses up front are good to me. I have had the opportunity to go to another facility but want to stay here.

My mother has been a patient in the memory unit for 2 years. Many of the aides and some of the nurses have been excellent. Administration however has been terrible! There is never enough staff, good staff is let go and they retain staff they shouldn't. Repeated concerns have been brought to their attention with little resolution. The facility itself is in poor repair, and cleanliness is questionable. The memory unit does not have enough livable space for patients to enjoy a satisfactory quality of life. The food has been acceptable, even good at times. However, it is not always served in a timely manner, leaving residents sitting and waiting for long periods of time. The cost of the care is not commensurate with the quality of care or condition of the facility. I would not recommend this facility for your memory impaired loved one. I can't speak to the other units in the facility, only to say that the entire building is in poor shape. Carpeting is in need of replacement as are many of the chairs, and other equipment.

The staff is pleasant and they help me in so many different ways. This is my second home and I come here whenever I need to recover from injury or illness.
