Reached out to cornerstone due to a recommendation from a different city. When I called I was given a Dr. Laura who I was then transferred to. Left a message, waited an entire week, no response. So I call back and they tell me they don’t have Dr.’s accepting patients. So I tell them I called last week and was told Laura was accepting patients, is this not true anymore. She responded saying I needed to call Laura and figure it out. Given that Laura has not responded, and the main office is useless, I decided to stop my search with them.

I've been in some kind of counseling for over thirty years, since I was ten years old. I've been going to Cornerstone for probably at least twenty years and seeing my current therapist for almost as long. I have seen a couple other people for things such as marriage counseling and medication management. I honestly don't know where the bad reviews are coming from. Every therapist has a different "style", just like a workout coach. The therapist I see is more outgoing and talkative. We like a lot of the same things. And she's really good at calling me out on things I need to work on. She's a really good fit for me, I get a lot out of seeing her and would be lost without her. It was different with the therapist I saw previously (who I started seeing when I was about ten). She was quieter, much more soft spoken, we didn't have much in common. But that doesn't mean I didn't get anything out of our sessions because I did. I think with therapy you get out of it what you're willing to put in. It's not an instant fix. It takes time.

My family and I have been seeing therapists at this office for years. All the therapists have been compassionate, well educated and dedicated to our care. I’ve always thought my concerns were important and the solutions offered were creative and well thought out. The results have been profound and I have often recommended this office to people looking for support. Because of the great care we’ve received from Dr. Sandy Adams, Aaron Munson, and Robin Coleman, my family and I are well adjusted and successful in our daily lives. Highly recommend.

I love love sandy she is the absolute best human being i have honestly ever met. Everyone loves her , i have had friends who also had her who just rave about her. The most giving, non judgemental, compassionate person i promise you will ever meet. I have had my doctor for my 8 years of sobriety she is the same so compassionate and really cares about her patients and not all doctors will make you feel this way. I highly recommend this place a 100 out of a 100!!!!

Laura was disorganized as it took over 7 business days for her to return phone messages, she sent me another clients email message, all our visits were by phone because she couldn’t get her virtual window to open and never cared to fix it. And even when she was late for our scheduled time I was charged for a full virtual visit. She disagreed with my doctors medication management and if she was truly concerned for my care she would have been willing to call my doctor and express her concerns. Instead all she did was tell me to call around for another level of care. I did whatever I could to remain patient and reasonable given my experience with her. This was a complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend this therapist to anyone. She chooses her clients and not the other way around. UPDATE: Okay so it took me a lot of reflection to see the scam that is going on here but here it is. The therapist was trying to get me to leave my doctors with Froedtert and join Aurora health care. They give you a couple of sessions maybe just one to try to talk you into getting an intake and have your insurance cover doctors through aurora health care and if they don’t convince you they do everything they can to get you to quit. It’s awful. Never go to Cornerstone unless you plan to get all your mental health care through the Aurora health care system. No wonder why the therapist wouldn’t talk to my Froedtert doctor about her distrust of her treatment. It makes sense now. Hopefully someone can learn from my heart ache.
