Some people go their whole lives without ever seeing a miracle. At Limen Recovery + Wellness, we seeing them every day since our inception in 1969. You, as friends and supporters of Limen Recovery + Wellness, have not only seen them, but you have helped create them.
The Limen Recovery + Wellness philosophy has been to provide a temporary home for men and women recovering from substance abuse. At the Limen Recovery + Wellness, the resident learns to change their life and help themselves in an atmosphere of compassion and loving concern. They learn to be responsible for their own choices. The aim is truly restoration - a new life restored to the community.

Timothy Morefield5 StarThis place right here has changed my life. It has brought me closer to my Higher Power, instilled a level of trust, dignity, love, and respect for myself and for others. It has truly showed me how to live in a program of recovery and how to incorporate the 12 steps into my daily everyday life. This house and its members have saved my life. Without this house I don't believe that I would be alive to this day.
I knew that I made the right decision by coming to this program, trying to give myself the best possible option to change and redirect my path from the moment I walked in the door. I was met with open arms and love like I had not felt in many a years. I think the best part about it was that my Mom and family members didn't have to worry anymore about the nature of my well being. Whether I was alive, dead
in jail or on the streets.
They give you the tools that are needed to begin to have a successful purpose driven life. The staff are more then just that they are family. That's what we are here at Limen House. FAMILY.... From ALUMNI to Residents, staff to board members and directors we all share a common bond, Love, and Respect for one another. Because we all have the same passion and goals and that is to do whatever it takes to help one another recover from this disease and for that I WILL BREATH: ETERNALLY GRATEFUL AND AVAILABLE TO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO MAY COME AND WHO MAY STAY FROM A WEEK TO A MONTH TO A YEAR; BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY JUST FOR TODAY....Saturday 31st October 2020
C G1 StarSallies grad here, I had an interview with two gentlemen in charge and they were VERY rude and unwilling to help me AT ALL. This was a time that I could have used the help. By rude I mean disrespectful and condescending beyond measure. Thanks for nothing, thanks for not having faith, thanks for a slamming door. I've sought help elsewhere and am doing great now. I left insulted, hurt and more broken than when I walked in the door. If I could give Limen house zero stars I would absolutely, without a doubt be obliged to!Thursday 27th June 2019
