Suboxone + Counseling

Buprenorphine-based medications such as Suboxone and Sublocade are proven to help patients who have developed a physical dependence on opioids. Patients replace their use of prescription medications or street drugs with daily doses of Suboxone or monthly injections of Sublocade. The Suboxone treatment regimen allows people to take their medication in the privacy of their own home and on a schedule that works for them. Most importantly, the treatment allows people to stop using prescription or street opioids and avoid withdrawal symptoms and cravings.

The combination of Suboxone treatment with counseling allows people to recover from their addiction and go back to living healthy and productive lives. 

Opioid addiction is now widely recognized as a chronic disease and MATClinics are designed to help people recover. As brain research has become more and more sophisticated, the evidence is now overwhelming that people who are addicted to opioids need to be treated with medication in the same way that people with diabetes need insulin.
