Positioned accessibly on Trindle Road near route 581 in Cumberland and Dauphin Counties, Mazzitti & Sullivan’s Mechanicsburg office provides counseling services to effectively treat a wide range of substance abuse issues. Our licensed counselors work with individuals, couples, and families who are battling addiction. We also identify co-occurring disorders, then work with patients to establish healthy thought processes and coping mechanisms that assist in relapse prevention.
Treatment programs at Mazzitti & Sullivan equip you with the tools necessary to re-establish positive relationships with family members and friends. Our experienced counselors provide level of care and DUI assessments, along with intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) for individuals throughout Cumberland/Perry and York Counties. Specialized outpatient group therapy is also offered at our Mechanicsburg location.
We are offering all levels of care both virtually and in-person. We also provide transportation for IOP services.

Jessica Paden5 StarI highly recommend Mazzitti and Sullivan Mechanicsburg to those struggling with alcoholism, addiction, and/or mental health issues. The staff and the program at M&Z Mechanicsburg are outstanding!
I was in and out of M&Z a few times. I completed the bare minimum of the program back in early 2018. In March of 2019, I found myself back for another evaluation (not court ordered, all voluntary). Intensive Outpatient (IOP) was recommended. I struggled with the program for about 2 months before working to get in to their partial program (5 days a week from 9a-1p). I didn't last more than 5 days in that program before relapsing. I was discharged unsuccessfully from M&S. Fast forward to July of 2019 when I checked in to an inpatient rehab for 28 days. Upon completing inpatient, I once again reached out to Mazzitti & Sullivan. They welcomed me back. I was in the IOP from mid August thru the beginning of October. I stepped down to regular outpatient and remained in group therapy until the end of December. I also had individual counseling sessions throughout the entire outpatient program, and I continued those sessions through mid February.
Mazitti & Sullivan (Mechanicsburg), and my counselor, Kyle, are a big part of my recovery story. The entire staff at the Mechanicsburg office is amazing. I looked forward to my appointments and groups. I really worked through a lot of issues that were holding me back from sobriety in the past. I was able to be open and felt that my thoughts and feelings were heard and respected. The communication with my counselor was easy and open. I took to heart and mind all of his advice and feedback. The group sessions were very informative and positive. I learned a lot about myself, alcoholism, and recovery at M&Z.Thursday 26th March 2020
