Each day we strive to deliver the highest quality treatment to our patients and their families. We offer a number of tailored programs for adolescents, adults, and senior adults. If you are looking for help with disorders such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder, or an addiction with alcohol, our staff will guide you as you overcome your struggles. We also understand that you may be battling a mental health disorder while also facing an addiction. Keeping this in mind, MeadowWood offers specialty programs for those co-occurring disorders that patients may be facing. Our highly acclaimed staff recognizes how important it is to treat each person who chooses to receive care from us as an individual with his or her own unique backgrounds and circumstances. Our programs focus on creating an individualized treatment plan tailored to each person to begin the foundation for lifelong recovery. Whether you are seeking inpatient treatment for PTSD, transitioning to our partial hospitalization program, or participating in co-occurring program, we are here to help you embrace health. Seeking treatment for mental health and addiction issues close to home offers the convenience of getting to our hospital without the added stress of travel and financial strain associated with travel costs. One of my friends was having a mental health crisis and checked into this facility. The admissions specialist, Yvonne, was very understanding of my friend throughout the process. It was determined by both Yvonne and my friend that he did not need to stay in the facility. My friend came out a much better, and optimistic person.

While this is still very fresh on my mind, it has to be said. My son has developed mental health issues since he was a young man in his teens. A ton of places only collected our insurance money, & sent him home even worse than ever. Meadowood kept my son in their facility for a month. He has never came back with so much discipline in his life. According to him a man named Mr. D on the west pod, applied structure in his life for four weeks, and he came home & its changed his life following his rules. I don't know if that is the way that hospital operates or that was the way he ran his pod. I am forever grateful for the time he spent with Mr. D. I called to see if I could speak with the young man. I haven't heard anything back as of yet but I will try again. Thank you sir.

This website is terribly misleading. The "residential program" is nonexistent and the admissions process was horrible! I was so disappointed and there is nothing scenic about it. 11 acres... where??? Go check it out (how dirty it is) before you or a loved one considers this place.

My son was discharged on Friday from psych ward at Union hospital. We were told by his case worker to come here next day which was Saturday. Arrived Saturday morning. Stood out in 9 degree weather waiting for person to come to door. Explained why we was here & was handed forms to fill out. Went to our car so we could be warm while my son filled out forms. Went back & lady came to door to get forms. We waited outside while she went to talk to somebody. She came back & requested we come back on Tuesday @ 8:00 due to the holiday (MLK’s birthday) so we left & came back Tuesday 8:00 in the morning. People at door were rude & acted like they didn’t have time to hear what we had to say. My son was handed the same forms to fill out that he had filled out Saturday. Female staff said they were probably lost or just gone & to fill them out again. Social security number was on one of the forms so now we have to worry about that. Sitting outside in car waiting to find out what they are going to do with my son.Not happy at all so far with this facility!!! Update: it got worse! Got door closed on me & have left messages for person that is supposed to deal with customer complaints but no returns on my call back requests!! Refuse to deal with these people!! Son is going to a better outpatient program!!!!!

Parents, family members in charge of your loved ones! I BEG you to Please, Please, Please read the reviews before sending your love ones to this facility. The reviews are not being written by angry people just to complain!!!!! Every experience here is TRUE!!!! I experienced everything that everyone else has written about in this platform. I wish, I could rate this facility negative stars. If you care anything about your love ones, when the name Meadowoods in Delaware comes up Run 🏃‍♀️ for your life. My son was never treated for his diagnosis. He was told by his social worker that if he came back to the facility she would make sure that he spends a year in residential, I won’t call her name, but she knows who she is and what she is!!! The professionalism, I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s just say there’s not enough space and time to elaborate. I wish, I had read all of the reviews before sending my son here for help. He came home worse than he was before he went in and heavily medicated. I could go on but I chose not to! Beware, you have been warned! This facility needs to be swept clean of the current employees or shut down!!! PERIOD!!!!
