Medical Resource Center: Barefoot Jules J MD & Associates - Our Outpatient Withdrawal Program has been designed to help addicts struggling from Opioid Addiction including illegal and prescription medications. The patient’s treatment and recovery process begins with a face to face Screening and may continue with a formal Intake, Kasper Report and Drug Screen. New patients are evaluated to determine if the patient may be an appropriate candidate for our Opiate Withdrawal or Opiate Maintenance Program. Patient generally enter into a Bi-Weekly Maintenance Treatment Program from 4 to 12-weeks. The actual length and format for each patient’s treatment program is a collaborative decision made between the patient and the Certified Physician. 1) The effects Opioid addiction can have in the workplace 2) How Opioid addiction effects your family relationships 3) Effects Opioids have on Mental Health 4) Understanding of the role of the medication in your recovery 5) Understanding of the role and importance of social, relational, leisure, recreation, hobbies in recovery 6) Understanding of the role of maintaining continuous sobriety 7) Understanding of the role of responsibility in recovery 8) Understanding of the role of motivation in recovery 9) Understanding of the role of outpatient counseling in recovery 10) Understanding of the role of followup evaluation in recovery Payment is expected at the time of any service. We believe in the strongest protection of your information allowable by law. We will provide necessary information directly to patients who wish to file with their insurance providers for any out-of-network benefits. Patients currently pregnant, suffering from acutely serious medical conditions, or who have medically dangerous withdrawal are excluded. Medication assisted treamtment will help with the withdraw symptoms helping you get off opioid dependency. Our goal is to make the process as tolerable and manageable as possible. The types and amount of medications required to completely control discomfort would not allow the brain to start producing again what has been replaced by the chemical dependency. The goal of medically-assisted chemical dependency treatment is that the withdrawal is gradual enough to prevent medical emergencies or overwhelming symptoms, while allowing the brain to reach adequate production of the internal chemicals and the patient to develop personal tools and strategies for relapse prevention. Medical evidence shows that the average patient needs at least 6 months of medication-assisted treatment. This figure is primarily based on the biology of the brain, in terms of time needed to reach equilibrium again. Because biology is only one piece of the puzzle, the Kymedicalcenter uses multidisciplinary assessments and treatments to help our patients with these decisions. Of course, we hope that new research will provide faster and easier treatments, or even cures. The hope is that contrary to the previous way of coping, you will gain some trust that allows you to notify a member of your treatment team as soon as possible. Punishment is not a part of our treatment. The natural consequences of failures are usually enough punishment. Relapse is part of the normal course of any illness. Building tools to prevent and overcome relapses is a major part of your treatment. There are 4 major reasons for toxicology screens. Chemical dependency trains the behavior of deception and this takes time and effort to overcome. Toxicology screens (and other forms of accountability) are known deterrents to relapse. Clear screens reinforce treatment goals. Patients often need toxicology screens for administrative/legal reasons. Above all else, the treatment is your treatment. Treatment is personalized to your goals and needs, but will also be based on the newest understanding and approaches to healing all of the areas damaged by chemical dependency. Your input into the treatment process is one of the most important pieces to improving recovery outcomes. Before taking medication, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. If you are pregnant or become pregnant while taking medication, alert your doctor immediately and you should report it to the FDA. Visit www.fda.gov/medwatch or call 1-800-FDA-1088.

They only care about money, late fees and double charging patients. They get you started on medicine then have charges appear that was not the agreed upon amount. Avoid this doctors office if youre thinking about quitting. It had the worst receptionists ive ever had to deal with. If you miss an appointment they charge you $50, but if they change your appointment and not call you to tell you avout it and you waste time and money going there, thats ok to them. Avoid this doctors office. LONG wait periods when your appointment is at 9 and you finally get seen at 10.

This is a great place to get medical assisted drug treatment. Dr. Barefoot is one of the nicest doctors I’ve ever seen... he is always attentive and answers any questions you may have. He doesn’t just get you in and out, he really cares about his patients. The staff are friendly and helpful, the office is always clean and I never had to wait too long to be seen. I would definitely recommend this group to anyone needing help with their drug addiction. This is a good, safe place where you will not feel shamed or embarrassed.

I want to say as a RN when I took care of Dr. Habensteins patients, they were well cared for by Dr. Habenstein. She would make sure of it and Dr. Habenstein had such high standards and such good results. This lady used to be a Nurse and worked her way up to a Pulmonologist, her ethics are amazing and some Nurses didn't like her because she was serious about her Patients being treated with the upmost care and provision. I just spoke of her to my BrotherInLaw in Indianapolis, they want to see her because I know Dr. Habenstein is the best Pulmonologist there is. She knows her business and cares and performs. I just loved her for being so good to her Patients.

The docs are really nice and empathetic to your situation. They are very kind and take their time in your appointment. They really care about helping you get your life back on track. The receptionist is grumpy and rude. She is the only neg thing I can think about when ppl ask me about this clinic
