When I called I was in crisis. I was given false information to get me to agree to the PHP program. Was told it was 5 - 10 days and I’d have access to a therapist everyday. And then I’d be able to see the psychiatrist for my meds which have been denied to me for 3 years. When in reality the group *was* the therapist. You’re expected to talk about whatever crisis you’re going through in a group with almost 0 contact with your supposed “therapist.” And your Psychiatrist will be taken away as soon as you finish the 10 days (it will never be 5 days). Unless you agree to another 3 hr a day group therapy program. They will remove access from a real doctor if you don’t finish their 30 hr tele-health group treatment minimum. And if you do finish it but don’t want more 3 hr group sessions (do you have a child? A job? Too bad) then they “will help you look for a psychiatrist.” The only reason why I was here was a psychiatrist and made that clear. I was mislead multiple times and given a terrible therapist “Susan” who never listened to me and just kept repeating herself. I couldn’t tell if it was her age or simply not caring. In all honesty this did more harm than help. I cannot stress enough, do not use this program. It’s about making the maximum amount of money off of you. Not your well-being. It’s never about your well-being

Mei James will call cys on you if you open up even slightly about anything you're having problems with IN A PRIVATE THERAPY MEETING and have a child. Do not go for treatment here. Community hospital is the scum on the bottoms of your shoes and even they wouldn't do that without first assessing the situation

The PHP and IOP program was helpful and what I needed at the time but I felt most of the empathy, motivation, and support came from fellow group members more than the staff. Staff aren’t bad people, I think they care about the individuals to some level but unfortunately doing a profession everyday they lose that genuine touch. You can’t expect them to actually care about you at the cost of their rules and regulations basically. Just feels like an extension of corporate world in the mental health arena. I’m grateful for my experiences here, but I owe it more to myself and the amazing people I met more than the staff. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My 16 year old attended the intensive outpatient program for 12 weeks. During the last 3 weeks he begun testing positive again and the program and group leaders neglected to let myself or my husband know (despite attending every family group and my son signing a release). Upon calling to verify a class time my son’s counselor told me that she couldn’t help him and referred me to another program. They did apologize for not notifying me of his relapse, and that’s the only nice thing I can say about the program.
