Zero stars. In my opinion Mission Point has no business being a hospice. No communication with family members from day one unless complaints made. No compassion for patient or family. Any questions answered with lectures to family. Promises never followed through. No aid for end of life patients unable to help themselves. Patient fell out of bed trying to open blinds for window visit. No one around. No one answered phone. Friends saying how wonderful hospice was for them. Nightmare for me at Mission Point Clinton Township. When I took loved one home, I immediately received call from director saying she was blindsided by my moving patient to home and got another lecture. Very compassionate to call family about this. I was blindsided the entire time my loved one was there. Before bringing patient home, patient was finally moved to room where visitation was one hour in the morning and one hour in afternoon (instead of 1/2 hour per day scheduled) if you knocked on locked door and someone inside just might see you and open it. And if not, you were to stand at locked door and call Mission Point to let you in but phone was rarely answered after hours. So after patient got into this room, nurse said how much trouble they went through to put patient there and a thank you from me was in order. Another compassionate lecture. After that I moved to bring patient home. Terrible experience at such a traumatic time. Totally blindsided by Mission Point.

This is a horrible place! From Ebony the administrator to the social workers all the way down to the aids. They are horrible people who obviously have absolutely no business being in the medical field. Prisons are better than this place. If you want to catch Covid and be treated like garbage then go here! This place needs to be closed down and have the entire staff replaced. If you have sense you will stay far far away from this place/prison!!!!!! If I could give negative 5 stars that is where there rating belongs.

HOUSE OF HORRORS. If you're shopping for a rehab or nursing home for yourself or a loved one, please DO NOT choose them. This facility is nothing short of despicable and inhumane to say the least. If your loved one is there, please get them discharged or closely monitor them. This review is long due. But better late than never.. I'm sharing our nightmares with this facility with bullets points to make it short and easy. - 2018: My father almost died a slow and painful death in the facility. It was called Cambridge South at the time. After he started to feel ill and both him and the family reported it to the staff , he was left to agonize for weeks WITHOUT ANY MEDICAL CARE WHATSOEVER, despite numerous calls day after day. We were repeatedly lied that he was not ill, that he was well . Every staff ( nurses, managers, repeated the same thing over the phone everyday. - Out of desperation, and away from Michigan at the moment, family called the facility's doctor directly to have him examine him and order exams. He did so. - But lab staff never drew blood. Ever! - Staff here is so incompetent to say the least, inhumane, arrogant, judgmental and full of prejudice. They put all residents in one basket. They are so stupid and judgmental that they easily label residents, and shamelessly lie. Even at the expense of residents ' lifes. - They LIED that the blood was taken. - They LIED because to them, every quiet or speech impaired resident is automatically " nut" or has dementia, memory loss and others. - To confront them we asked for the results. They LIED again that the results were normal. We knew already that there was never a bloodword done. - On the 2nd week after my father kept complaining about not feeling well, we arrived in Michigan to find him in a VEGETATIVE STATE. The poor man was slowly agonizing in a facility before everybody's eyes!!!! - My father was in fact developing an almost mortal diabetes. Medics diagnosed him with nearly 900 g of glucose level who! He was not diabetic when he entered that slaughterhouse . - Mind you, the medics were called by the family after the facility nurse stated that my father wasn't ill. He was found in a vegetative state by the family in his room, and when the nurse was called, she checked his BP and pulse and stated that he was not ill and DIDNT NEED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL! Simply because BP was in normal range! They messed up my father's life and terribly affected ours. Please be careful with your loved ones. I hope this testimony can save lives. Can you imagine a nurse examining a resident who is nearly dying and stating that nothing is wrong with him? Can you imagine if we were not there, they would have left him slowly die and call it natural death? This tells you how incompetent they can be. AVOID THIS PLACE. - When we called the ambulance and medics, they immediately caught that deadly glucose level.. Unfortunately it had already severally damaged my father's metabolism and general health. - He was rushed to the emergency room, He was admitted for 7 weeks +. He endured coma and other complications and damages such as diabetic encephopathy, loss of smell, total deconditioning, and more up to today - Ain't it ironic and outrageously painful to almost lose a loved one so stupidly in a place where they are supposed to be cared for? I'm telling you this story to beg you not to dare exposing your dear one's life. If we were not careful and if we did not care for my father, he would have died for nothing! - DO NOT PUT YOUR ONE THERE. Don't trust a place where they will let your loved one slowly agonize with severe dehydration and deadly unattended diabetes. You don't need a place where they will contribute to sending your family to their early grave! - They don't care. They play a lot of games. if you want to keep your sanity, please DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE THERE. You will regret. They're horrible at all levels from staff to administration. Their culture is: deshumanization, incompetence, lies, misappapropriation, fraud and more.

Took over an hour before someone responded when my father in law turned his light on for assistance he had been sitting in a wheelchair for 4 hours. Not acceptable
