I have been going here for quite some time now. I haven’t had a single issue during my time here at MRS. All of the staff are not only professional but also extremely caring and polite. I relocated and now drive an hour and twenty minutes there and back because I don’t want to transfer. This place has changed and helped my life and I would recommend them to anyone who is considering methadone treatment. An amazing team of great people that are there to help you fix your life. My experience has been very different. I have found Angela to be very nice, giving, thoughtful and considerate. She was my former counselor and far from being a narcissist. She always has been very complimentary and helped me have a better day. Sometimes personalities clash and given the circumstances of the clinic, I can understand how things can get heated. She has always been very understanding as long as I was truthful and didn't try to deceive her. You have to be honest with your addiction and yourself. My current counselor is Jeanine and she is equally as amazing and always has time for me. She has always been concerned about me and what's going on in my life with positive feedback. She is always willing to help me with anything I may ask of her with a smiling face. She is absolutely wonderful. Everyone there that I have personally dealt with is great. I live 5 minutes from the Frederick clinic and choose to drive 1 hour (in rush hour traffic) out of my way to go to the kind and simply better staff at MRS. Frederick Clinic is horrible.

I've been on many methadone clinics and MRS is by far the best. I'm serious and very sincere about this. I have been clean since I started there. The 2 founding directors were both on methadone in the 1970s & 1980s and they tried to right all the wrongs they had experienced in those clinics. They each got clean in the mid to late 1980s. This clinic is the most client-friendly clinic in the country. It's too bad that their competition tried hard to make trouble for them. Trust me, MRS is fantastic. Methadone saved my life. I have a good job and live a good life.
