My kids grandmother is basically being ignored. Now don't get me wrong the nursing staff seems great. The dietary director either doesn't care or bother with salt restrictions or sugar intake AT A NURSING FACILITY!!! The in house doctor when her sugar went above 500!! did not send her to the hospital no no he played with her life! If this is the place you want your loved one's in...maybe you don't care for them because Mountain Laurel management sure doesn't to allow this to happen.

After 6 years of long term care I would not recommend this place to anyone. Though my loved one had been kept clean and had no skin breakdowns the lack of overall care and attention from the medical staff to the patients is unacceptable. The failure to follow up on reports and requests for medical attention from the family over and over again, for years, is truly heartbreaking and has cost someone their life. I wish I would have had a review like this years ago before I had to make a decision to use this facility.

This place Is amazing as far as rehab, especially for special needs patients. They had my father, fresh out of a 4 month coma, with vascular dementia and alzhiemers up walking, talking and feeding himself again in a couple of weeks . they have a REAL rehab room with REAL THERAPISTS. I recommend this place to EVERYONE.

Good place, lots of nice staff and my mother's been there for over a year now so a couple are almost like family! I cannot speak for short term patients but for permanent residents the atmosphere is very healthy and they are taken care of well
