Bad overall experience. They told me prior to coming they take my insurance (Medicaid/Medicare, which by the way NO ONE in the area takes). Got there and they flipped the answer. Then I went to the Social Security office to get off Medicare (due to an oversight I am still on it despite me no longer qualifying for it since 2012). Lady told me she is afraid to take me off of it due to the possibility of losing Medicaid. I reported that to my former caseworker (who doesn't even do her job) and called the Medicaid office. They assured me I will keep my Medicaid. Went back to the SS office and another lady said ok you will be off by the first of next month. So I made an appointment for that day. Waited for half an hour only for them to say I am still on duel. Asked them to just run it through to where Medicare denies it and ask Medicaid (which is what hospitals and pharmacies do) and they told me by law they can't do that (yea right). They called my former caseworker and told her what happened. Asked her to initiate my backup plan to pay them out of pocket (She told me the day prior I can do that if things went south) and she said I can't afford it go back to the SS office. I did and they jerked me around. Next day I asked to meet with her and she said she couldn't do anything for me. So I fired her and went to another agency that has an on site D and A counselor as well as the psychiatric services I need. Edit: At least the other companies in the area were honest and told me straight out they don't take my insurance this one lied about it. Plus I forgot to mention the first time I went and found out I filled out ALL of the paperwork. When I came on the first I had to fill it out again even though they told me they would keep it on file when I get my situation sorted out. And don't bother going to the inpatient near south ave. my ex girlfriend went and they have no activities and bad food. She relapsed a few days after her stay. I heard this from others.
