My stay was comfortable, the facilities, group rooms and bedrooms were extremely clean, and it became my safe haven to begin healing. I am not kidding when I say the energy on campus was magical, and totally made me feel at home. The entire staff genuinely care about your well-being. Most are in recovery themselves and have experienced addiction first-hand. They’re such strong women who can empathize with what you’re going through. I have been to detox several times and have never had such an unpleasant experience. The first thing I noticed was how filthy dirty the detox house was upon arrival and it didn't appear that it was cleaned the entire 7 days I was there. There were flies all over the kitchen and my shoes would stick to the floor. I had to practically chase down a staff member every time I was due for meds as they were not on top of which made me even more anxious than I already was. Some of the staff was helpful, but others should not be in this line of work. No compassion or patience for the patients

New Directions for Women is a phenomenal program. Their clinical team and staff members provide excellent care. Katy Alexander as well as Danielle Fernandez have always taken care of the admissions process with warmth and understanding. I have had friends and loved ones go through this program and I’ve seen the strong sobriety and emotional support this team provides individuals struggling. From the first call to the first step through the door this team wraps around each client. I can’t say enough good things. From a personal and professional standpoint, I trust this team and admire the work that they do.
