New Vision provides safe, confidential, compassionate and reliable care with a typical stay of 72 hours for people who qualify.We serve adults in the Salt Lake City area that are experiencing impending or active withdrawal from alcohol, prescription medications, and other drugs in a hospital setting.The diagnosis of need for inpatient care can only be made by a licensed physician. The service accepts most insurance plans. Call our Intake Coordinator for more specific info – 801-901-3208 This service is intended to help medically treat individuals who are experiencing withdrawal from drugs and alcohol, so that they can begin their path to recovery. Any adult (18 or older) who is misusing certain substances may be a candidate for treatment. We offer a safe and quiet place to recover where your immediate needs are quickly addressed. We include you in decisions made relating to your discharge care plan and make it a priority to have a follow-up appointment scheduled for you prior to completing treatment with New Vision. “I’m a veteran, and I’ve been addicted to pain meds for 5 years because of chronic pain. Liars. I made an appt for my family member to do the detox program here and they administer never told us that they might not have a bed. We made the appt 2 weeks in advance and when we arrived in full withdrawals they told us sorry we don’t have a bed for you. If you are looking to detox go somewhere that guarantees you a bed.

This place just knows how to detox someone. My wife is there now and I could not be happier with the philosophy and treatment of a detoxing addict. The staff is incredable they treat you with dignity and respect (the two things imparitive for a successful stay). They just truely get it. I am so impressed with this place I would recommend it to anyone. They take care of your every need and the staff truely cares about your well being.
