We had a really good experience with Newport Academy. Our daughter stayed there for over 6 weeks and Newport was very helpful at providing the reset she needed and the relief we needed. From the admissions team to the aftercare team, every single one of the staff was very attentive, reliable and professional all the way through our treatment process. We felt really good inside knowing that our daughter was in good hands and safe at Newport. We are very grateful to all the dedicated and patient Newport Academy staff.

I went to Newport Kirkland facility twice and both times were super different because I went when it first opened, then again almost two years later and one thing that I say has not changed has been the therapy aspect. Each time I went I got the best clinical team that really helped me and listened to me, the groups are super structured and the staff (for the most part) are super nice and chill. They have such good residential supervisors which listen to your needs and suggestions so well. Even if you don’t agree with a decision that’s been made you will constantly have someone who will sit with you to process everything. I got so many skills and gained a lot of friendships. It also doesn’t seem like you’re fully trapped with just therapy because you have time to socialize with your peers, play games like just dance and have parties on special occasions. I would recommend Newport because it truly did help me both times.

My daughter went there for 2.5 months and had a wonderful experience. She was depressed, using drugs and had very low self esteem. They stabilized her medications and really brought out the best in her. She chose to be called by a different name which really made her feel empowered and accepted. The counselor she had really understood our family and supported my daughter. She gave us tangible advice and was one of the best we've had. It's sad that we couldn't keep her as our counselor after leaving the program. My child had been in two other residential care facilities before and Newport was the best.

I was just at Newport the kirkland location. I just want to give recitation for my pod(pine)!! I was in denial about a lot in my life. This residental was the first ever I'd been too and was my last. My treatment team was amazing. Some of the CC's were questionable and frustrating. ISome do try and minipulate you, and complain and take thing out on us. My favorite thing was Equine. I loved the horses and the amazing staff at Little Bit. My only complaint is some of the Cc's who took things out on us. Also they quarantined someone for chocking on water. 😂 Not fair that the boys get to live in cabins.

i’ve been to a lot of residentials and to be honest this one wasn’t the worst of them. the building and living situation is clean and nice and most of the staff are really helpful and kind but they had a bit of unnecessary policy’s and rules for residents that were a bit over the top at times. i wouldn’t really recommend it for deppression, or substance abuse but i’ve seen it work well with behavior problems for some people. i’m honestly only giving it two stars because the residents there made it really great. To be honest i’d go back just for the residents
