I was in rough shape when I got there. But Joe the physical therapist was amazing. He got me to do things that I thought I would never do again. I was so down and this guy was amazing. I couldn’t have done it without his kindness and encouragement. The aides there were fantastic especially Fay and Mini.

My mum went in here after her Knee Replacement Surgery. I must say all the staff are so helpful and respectful. We never had to complain over anything. They made my Mum's stay there as comfortable as possible and would go out of their way to meet her needs. This Rehab is blessed to have such wonderful nurses, so pleasant to work with. The PT and OT team are very so good at what they do. They helped my mom walk and gain confidence in herself. Their daily exercise with her was exactly what my mom needed to able to walk. If you ever have to pick a Rehab for your loved one, Pick Stern at Northwell.

I write this from my mother’s bedside in Sterns Rehab. The service from what we have seen is far from acceptable! Mom uses the call button, someone comes in quite a few minutes after, asks a question and disappears till we call again only for the request to be put on hold for another 32 minutes!! The tone of voice used by the staff is almost threatening! The social worker has still not returned our call from 24 hrs ago.. Dietary requests are also not being met! Nurse says “let me check with the doctor about the nausea” but we don’t hear back from the nurse for hours!! We are still waiting 🙁

Had to change my review after I found out on my own that they neglected to tell me my mothers heart became enlarged after she contracted covid there. Knowing she had cardiac issues and stood an additional week after that finding, they not only didn't tell me, they didn't send her to a cardiologist for further examination. She was released 1/14/22, and discharge paperwork only said to follow up with primary care physician in a few wks. My mom passed away 2/13/22 to cardiac failure. Im beyond angry and devastated!! Dont send your loved ones here if they have cardiac issues, diabetes, etc. Post covid can cause further damage that Dr's are not paying attention to. Pls have your loved one have physical therapy at home!

This is the worst company I’ve ever worked for. They had me working with Covid and failed to tell me I had Covid until after the fact. I didn’t even get an apology for the incident. After recovering from Covid the company placed me to work on the Covid unit my first day back to work, Because of the negligence of the company I exposed my Immunocompromised mother and whole family to Covid-19. They also treat the C.N.A like dogs so beware. I’ve never worked for a company that didn’t value the worker’s safety and health. Barbara geraghty R.N /ADN talks down on people and treat the aides like they are children. A lot of people left this company because of her. I had a severe Anxiety attack because of the stress from this company. They would purposely move me from my unit to place me on the Covid unit, Without any reason or cause. As a result I can honestly say that I’m relieved that I’m not apart of the company anymore. My blood pressure was very high working here. Now I’m finally at peace I’m no longer a slave.
