Choosing from among the many physical therapy facilities and professionals can be challenging. That's why I went on a Neighbors site, and after considerable research and careful deliberation, chose Juliann Shepherd at the newly opened, light and airy NovaCare rehabilitation center at the Concord complex, near the intersection of Silverside Road and Rt. 202 (Concord Pike) in Wilmington, DE. Turned out those recommendations were spot-on. Juliann''s confidence, expertise and ability to formulate and orchestrate an individualized program was evident from the start. Her patience to see things through was both comforting and commendable. She's also aware of your insurance and how that plays into NovaCare scheduling. There's no pressure to perform up to expectations or standards with Juliann. She carefully analyzes what can and cannot do and proceeds from there. Her empathy is off the charts. Perhaps that's helps in the rehabilitation process as well.
