This place is absolutely HORRIBLE. Do NOT send your loved one here. I was a resident here for a short time. I had a bed sore that became incredibly infected.. I was running a high fever and was delusional. I had sepsis. No one bothered to check my temperature. The doctor peered in to look at me from the door and told the nurse to give me two Tylenol. When my wife arrived at the Center, SHE called 911 and had me rushed to Holmes. The doctors at Holmes were astounded by the lack of care and told her if I had arrived two hours later I would have died. I had to undergo a surgery and spent the next two months in rehab and had a wound vac for six months. UPDATE: I called this morning as requested by Nspire in response to my post. My call was sent to voice mail. Not surprisingly, I didn’t get the courtesy of a return call. So as I thought, it’s all talk . But my wife reminded me of a couple of other problems. While i was there, my door was always closed. The nurses and aids would not answer the call button. Many times, I was left without water. I could hear people walking in the halls, my screams for help would go unanswered. I would call my wife, and she would call and raise holy hell to get someone to help me. I’ll be happy to take a lie detector test to prove that everything I have said is true. Please learn from my misery.

I’m a current resident at this facility. I love the battery operated therapy cat in the Activities Room- he’s very comforting. My bed enables me to be restful. I took full advantage of the therapy gym after my accident. I have GREAT enthusiasm, especially for the stationary bike. My mobility has improved dramatically. The nurses are very attentive. I’m very social by nature and staff here is personable and hospitable. Daily life is good. All I need now is a boyfriend here!

I’m a long term resident at Consulate of Melbourne. The staff is very helpful and there are a lot of activities to do. I’ve made a lot of friends here, both with staff members and other residents. The speech therapist helped me talk more clearly. I enjoy our holiday parties and musicians. The receptionists are very helpful and go out of their way even when they’re busy.
