My mother was a patient at Oakview Nursing and Rehab earlier this year. Throughout her stay, she was constantly commenting on how kind and caring all of the staff were. It was also my experience in my interactions with everyone from the administrator to housekeeping. They were all very professional and very caring in their attitude towards family and patients. I would recommend Oakview to anyone needing the assistance that they can provide either for your loved ones or your family.

This place tells you when you work there, they treat you like family. Not. Low pay. Orientation was disorganized. Never received an employee hand book. Walked around building and met a few employees. Admin, DON, and 2 ADONS are very young and not in nursing for very long. Place is disorganized, short on staff and supplies. Protocols not followed. Food for residents is nasty and usually cold. The rooms are dirty. Residents don’t get the care they deserve. DON is rude and stays in office most of the time. If needed on floor DON & ADONS need two of them to pass med cart because they can’t handle the job. It’s horrible. After being hit and not asked once if I was okay, or them filing an incident report, I quit. After this experience I’m done with nursing. We are used and abused. We are not valued employees.

The staff at Oakview Nursing and Rehab are fantastic! Each resident at the facility is treated with love and kindness! A great place to work and feels like family...the cleanliness, dietary department, and hospitality is outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this facility for anyone who is in need of long term care!

I am a current resident at Oakview. My stay here started back in January and everything they have been doing for me has been beyond expected. I have become very close with the Quality of Life Director, Bre. She has included me and many other residents in the planning of the activities, always makes sure to have a smile on her face while making us smile, and always keeps us busy. I would definitely recommend Oakview to anyone!

I'm a retired respiratory therapist who recently suffered from a stroke. Oakview has exceeded my expectations more than any hospital or healthcare facility I have ever stayed in or worked in. Number 1, I had great food. Number 2, the staff has been nothing but kind to me. Number 3, the therapy team has gotten me strong enough to where I get to discharge soon. Number 4, activities are fun. I could go on and on. I have learned so much here and made many friends. I would highly recommend Oakview to anyone who needs therapy or long-term care.
