The therapist that I worked with was great but no longer works at this office (thankfully). I was told that my insurance would cover my visits and that everything was verified however that was not the case. I understand that sometimes things get mixed up with insurance and was very reasonable when they called me with a very large bill as I had already had several visits. There were still outstanding claims on my file so we agreed that they would call me back with my final bill and to set up a payment plan. They never called me back with my final bill and simply sent me to collections. When I called back to explain the situation the receptionist and assistant to director, Jeannette, was very dismissive, did not apologize for their mistake, and simply told me that they deleted my file and she has no access to any information about me at this point. I’m very disappointed with how they handled the situation and would warn anyone against coming here.

If you use insurance, do not go to this location. Great therapist but office will not work with insurance company to provide correct billing code in order for the therapist to be paid. I understand insurance is not straightforward but when I have all the information that the insurance company is requesting (the insurance company reached out as well and did not get a call back) and Oakwood is refusing to do anything with the account. This has been going on for weeks and now my loved one is in a critical situation AND the therapist that has helped him SO much is not being paid for their work. My loved one has called multiple times to give them the exact information needed and is getting nowhere. Please feel free to reach out to me if you care to discuss further. I would love for you to have the opportunity to defend your actions or lack thereof.

Ah, well let me add to the bad reviews. So, because of a miscommunication with my therapist I was taken off of her schedule without notice. The receptionist was rude to me about it, because she didn't understand what I thought I had set up with therapist. I feel as though my therapist pressured me back into MRT but didn't tell me I wouldn't be doing one on ones anymore which I was not ready for. Now I'm left with more anxiety and no help. Kind of nervous about reaching out to another facility now as well. Thanks Oakwood :)
