Brick, NJ Ocean Monmouth Care

Outpatient Treatment

Ocean Monmouth Care in Brick, NJ, offers outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP), Office-Based Opiate Treatment (OBOT), and Medically Supervised Detox programs for men and women with opioid use disorder and drug addiction. We use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) – methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone) – to stabilize patients, which allows them to benefit from therapy and counseling.

By combing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with evidence-based therapies, we help adults manage their addiction to opioids to live healthy, productive lives. Patients receive custom treatment plans based on a clinical evaluation. Our team of experienced addiction treatment experts includes an on-staff doctor, 24-hour nursing, Master’s Level Therapists, and NAADC-Certified Addiction Professionals.

Personalized treatment plans can include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET). You will also receive individual, family, and group counseling, 12-step group support and/or SMART Recovery, and education classes on substance use disorders.

In addition, we offer trauma-informed care, art therapy, mindfulness programs, case management services, and aftercare monitoring. Pregnant women and expectant mothers receive specialized programming.

Medicaid, Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Optum, Magellan, Cigna, Humana, and other private insurance plans accepted. Call now to start your recovery from addiction to opioid drugs.

Staff is awesome, methadone maintenance saved my life, great counsolers, the only problem is the one doctor Tutu, he is the most unprofessional, rudest man I ever met! Either he doesn't like white people, doesn't like recovering drug addicts, or just hates his job, unsure but never in my life was I treated so bad from another human being, No-one says anything as they are afraid he will mess with their dose or put you on hold, if he had a private practice that man would have no patients, he is the worst! I think this is the only job he could get! Terrible man- other then that the place is awesome!

This place is one of the worst treatments in New Jersey they make up the rules as they go, and there's absolutely no treatment there it's just a money maker which is sad because some people do want the help

I was "recruited" by this organization to interview for a management position. The director and assistant director feigned interest in me up to and including the interview, then they went dark: never sent me a workable link to complete my applicant profile, wouldn't respond to my emails, and no follow-up email, phone call or letter. I can only surmise that they brought me in as a warm body to feign "diversity" but in reality I was guilty of the Triple-Too's: too old, too White, and too male. Fortunately I already have a job, so outside of inconveniencing me with a fake interview, it's NBD. Their lack of common decency, however, says a lot about their corporate culture. Don't think I'll ever refer a client there...I can only imagine.

I hate this place!!! They make everything impossible and no matter how good you do they still make excuses to phase you up! I have tried speaking to supervisors and they tell you they will call you back and they never do!! Your life will be controlled by them!!!
