Mr. White got clean in 2003, after decades of active addiction. He used the twelve step program to rebuild his life. In 2008 he opened a recovery house for women, and soon after, another recovery house for men. Mr. White went back to school, and today is an addictions counselor. One Promise now has eight recovery houses and an outpatient facility.
Mr. White is still an active member of Narcotics Anonymous today.

Janay G5 StarI am forever grateful for One Promise.. to Bruce, and Mark and all the wonderful staff... can't forget the incredibly smooth court liaison Danny they sent to help me in court. My life could have went even more downhill, but thanks to the help I received, and my choice to start living better, I've been allowed to maintain my freedom. You can't put a price on that. This is the place to be if you are serious about changing your life. Big thanks again to everyone who has helped me on this journey. I'll be back... but only to stop in and say hello from now on :)

Tamika Alston5 StarI came to One Promise due to my first and only DUI. And I met Mr Robert he taught the 12 hour drug and alcohol class. And from that first encounter with Mr Robert I knew I needed more help and that was the first time I asked for it. One promise made me first realize that I had a problem with alcohol but that didn't define who I am. I definitely recommend One Promise for anyone looking to change their life for the better. All the counselors there that I encountered were wonderful but by far Mr Robert was definitely a inspiration in my life.Monday 13th December 2021

They don't give you one-on-one counselors it just seems like some scatterbrained person just make stuff up to make things harder on people and housing and then They don't help them. The house managers allowed to do whatever they want and you can't voice your opinion to them or anyone above them they are human too they make mistakes and they should be called on them.Sunday 9th January 2022
Elberto5 StarAbsolutely the best place to seek assistance for addiction and therapy counseling. After struggling for 6 years and opting to seek out different help outside of my norm, I came across One Promise and I'm extremely glad that I did. One Promise as been a God sent blessing from the counselors, therapists, court liason, staff, to Bruce himself, One Promise has changed my life. I will be forever thankful. Marcella Hensel5 StarHighly recommend i came in to Onepromise from jail on home detention. They offered a clean structured environment. Where I was able to get my life together. My house manager was amazing and we are still great friends. My counselor Mark helped motivate me. Iop gave me information about the disease of addiction and coping skills that i use in my daily life.
