I can't give a 5 star bc I haven't fully experienced it yet. All nursing homes, to me, could use refreshed, updating and a fresh coat of paint to make it more welcoming. Not saying anything against your facility but it is true. Fresh paint, nicer, newer furniture can make a difference in a place. But the staff was very welcoming and up front. I appreciated the kindness and caring they showed me. The activities were readily available and the rehab area was very nice. I would definitely and am considering, my father to reside there.

I was very pleased with my visit to the Indian River Center. I was attended as soon as I arrived at the center. I was given a brief tour and my most important questions were answered by the admissions officer. I was so impressed that if she is accepted, I plan to transfer my wife to your facility.

This place is nothing more than a torture chamber for the helpless. In the three months that my father has been incarcerated there, he has fallen, had the catheter ripped from his body and contracted COVID. As a result he has been hospitalized several times. Also in that time I have yet to receive a single useful, coherent report on his condition. Better answer an inbound call from this house of horrors, because there's only about a 60% chance anyone will answer at the front desk if you have to call back. At the nurse' stations that percentage drops to between 30-40%, and even if you do get a response the person will be unable to provide infor m.h ation. They'll place you in hold until you hang up. Don't leave your relative here unless you're out for revenge.

Though the facility is very nice and well maintained, it is the outgoing and caring staff that make this facility a place where we feel comfortable leaving my husbands mom.

My mother was here for 2 months. When she went in she was able to walk and get up and down easily. By the time we removed her she could barely walk and had a drastic fall. She never received baths as scheduled and we had to fight to get her proper care. I would not recommend this place at all. After removing her and placing her in an assisted living she is completely restored and loving life.
