I liked it for what it was for me at the time!! I was there for inpatient drug rehab!! The only suggestion that I have that I would really hope that they will consider is to take their alcohol and drug rehab clients to NA instead of AA cause NA includes all drugs and alcohol is a drug!!

all the comments that were posted is lies and i have been in park place for 3 mths and i was treated just fine an the house manger an staff treated us park place patients like any other kid is treated in a regular home park place is far the best and a tough loving care therapeutic group home

Park Place is NOT a place to send your child. There the house manager and staff like to publicly humiliate children, use to much force on their holds leaving bruises, and they are very secretive. My child had attended the facility and has told me about a peer who was criticized by the house manager and staff. This peer got mad and punched the house manager. She was put in a hold that left numerous bruises which is not allowed. They then proceeded to mock her religion and called her 'Satan'. The house manager and staff put a cloth over her face and gave her a baptism. The peer tried to tell someone, but then got in trouble for it. My daughter was treated in such a way also. They had taken her glasses that she needs for 24 hours. They force your children to eat or else they get marked as self harming and get no privileges. All around this 'therapeutic' home is not all that therapeutic. Please don't send you kids here they will not get the help or respect that they need.

It is the worst place to work. Workers use drugs, and if you are not in their little druggie clique, they fire you...dont work there if you can help it!!
