It is a shame that the first couple reviews are negative here. If you are looking for a place to help with addiction you are definitely at the right place. If you are looking for a day spa I suggest looking elsewhere. I have completed the pathways program and definitely changed the trajectory of my life. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable both clinical and personal experience. They are kind compassionate and incredibly dedicated. If you are looking to change your life i highly suggest you check it out and give yourself a break. The staff broke their backs to help me and will do so for you and for that I am very very grateful!!!

I checked my husband into the facility on Monday and they told us that he would be able to come to the gate to see me and when I got there they told him if he came to the gate they would kick him out of the facility. They then trespassed me from the property and lied and told me that my husband was okay with that. The one time I have been allowed to communicate with my husband since then he told me he never said that. I am his only support system. This place is only trying to get my insurance money and doesn't have any care at all for his future after they collect the money for the program. They don't speak to you after you get out they don't help you in any way and all they're doing is trying to rip apart his family. I do not recommend putting anyone you care about in this facility. and anything that promise you before you check in needs to be put in writing because the second your loving family member is behind those doors, it's a whole different story to what they say to you on the phone.

All I will say is that this is owned by First Step of Sarasota. First Step is awful and it makes me weep for the city of Sarasota.

I'm writing to recognize the exceptional care and service I was given by Aaron in admissions. Although my daughter's health insurance wouldn't cover a stay at Pathways, Aaron went out of his way to help me get information for a facility that would not only accept her insurance, but also give her the care more specific to her needs. I had called numerous facilities around the country and not one person gave me any guidance or cared I was a concerned Mom with no place to turn. Aaron, thank you so very much for a listening ear and your sincere concern for my daughter's mental health needs. You are truly an asset to the company you work for and deserve much recognition for your kind heart and efforts.

I have stopped in to inquire about First Step and their programs on more than one occasion only to find the gates locked. When I went to their Corporate office in the building behind the campus (which also houses the dining Hall) and inquired about IOP the staff member had no idea what that was and that I was in the wrong location. I was told to go to their office on 17th Street where they might be able to help me. Intensive Out Patient program is. The receptionist at 17th Street had no idea why the corporate office told me they had a IOP program at that location because they had stopped offering that program a long time ago. How is it possible that a organization that claims to be a drug & alcohol rehab stay in business if they don't even know where everything is or be able to answer simple questions?
