TEACHING, LEARNING, AND COACHING PHILOSOPHY (TLC)

* Reduce theories to language understood by non-professionals * Teach a practical, portable, step by step recovery formula (Recovery Map) * Define key terms and program concepts in association with client/students personal experiences enhancing    their learning process * Encourage the use of participates own skill set to empower and maintain healthy lifestyle changes * Develop and promote a non-confrontational, yet direct teacher/coach to student/client relationship

SERVICE GOALS

TO PROVIDE A SAFE, CARING, AND EMPOWERING LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT MOTIVATES PARTICIPANTS TO CHOOSE ACHIEVMENT IN THE FOLLOWING: * Cease drug use * Maintain A LEARNING posture * Learn about issues critical to addiction, relapse, treatment, and recovery * Receive direction and support from a trained counselor or coach * Receive education for family member affected by their addiction * Become familiar with other self-help programs and resources supportive of living a healthy recovery lifestyle
