You will most likely see quick paragraphs on what Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is or descriptions of different levels of care. We at Pax House Recovery love to show off these talking points just as much as the next one. What we find though is that all of these things are just the icing on the cake. The real power, the real truth of the matter, is that we are far more interested in knowing who you are, what you are struggling with, and how we can help. From our chef and group facilitators to our administrative staff and counselors, all the way to our owners; we are all people who have been where you are and have found a better way to live. Every single one of our staff members is in recovery themselves from one year all the way to 27 years. We come from all walks of life be it gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic background, geographically; we as staff have come together as our own family to pass on the solutions we have found to the next still suffering alcoholic and addict. That is our primary purpose.
