Pekin Celestial AA

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

I agree if I could give less then one star I would. If you feel at home here I can assure you your problem are greater then the drink. This is not a safe place for anyone looking to sober up. Do yourself a favor and drive elsewhere. I felt like I needed a shower after this place.

Ive attended this group and other groups in the area over the past 20 day. Personally i think the meeting in Pekin need to close their doors. This is the poorest repusentation of Alcoholics Anonymous I have seen in 40 years. Something needs to happen here. Emediately. I will pass the word where ever I travel to. Joe. P

I enjoy the meetings here. I've met a lot of wonderful people and I do enjoy the new Women's meetings. Lots of sobriety and wisdom in these rooms.
