Kenda Gardner5 StarI am so happy my doctor recommended Natalie Derstine for my rehabilitation of a winged scapula. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and made PT a joy. I had been in a lot of pain for over a year before I finally decided to see a doctor. The orthopedic doc did an X-ray and saw my shoulder blade out of place along with bigger muscles on the opposite side. After about three months of physical therapy with Natalie, I can say I am about 99% back to normal! Before the PT, I had such sharp pains in my shoulder blade area and also my traps. You could also see one shoulder higher than the other, the shoulder blade sticking out, and muscles bigger on one the opposite side. I didn’t really think that everything would go back to normal especially after ignoring it for so long but it has! I don’t even have to take medication anymore! They are knowledgeable and careful. I personally witnessed one therapist researching new methods of therapy before using it with a patient as well, so I believe they are knowledgeable about the latest modalities.
