About Pine Heights Comprehensive Treatment Center in Baltimore, MD

Pine Heights Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults in the Baltimore, Maryland, area who are struggling with opioid addiction.

MAT is a safe and effective form of treatment that is recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and several other reputable organizations. MAT incorporates prescription medication and counseling to help patients end their opioid use and establish a foundation for long-term recovery.

Decades ago, methadone clinics were limited to offering one type of medication. Today, opioid addiction treatment centers such as Pine Heights CTC in Baltimore, Maryland, are authorized to offer multiple medications. Patients who take part in medication-assisted treatment at our CTC in Baltimore, Maryland, may receive methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone.

All patients complete a thorough evaluation and meet with a medical professional prior to starting treatment. Our medical staff works closely with each patient to determine which medication, and which dosage level, is best for them.

Therapies Used at Our Baltimore Methadone Clinic

Most people who seek help at a methadone clinic understand that they’ll receive methadone or another medication to help them stop using opioids without going into withdrawal. But medication is just one part of treatment at methadone clinics and other authorized MAT providers, such as Pine Heights CTC in Baltimore, Maryland.

To help patients with the behavioral, emotional, and social aspects of opioid addiction and recovery, we offer individual and group counseling. Counseling sessions at our Baltimore clinic are safe and supportive places where patients can process their experiences, address the harm opioid addiction has inflicted on their lives, and begin to make the changes that will empower them to pursue long-term recovery.

Counseling, especially group counseling sessions, can also help patients overcome the shame and isolation that are unfortunately common among people who have been living with opioid addiction. When patients receive opioid addiction treatment at our center in Baltimore, Maryland, they discover that they are not alone, that help is available, and that they are worthy of being treated with respect and compassion.

Individualized Treatment for Opioid Addiction in Baltimore, MD

When patients arrive at our center in Baltimore, Maryland, they join a community that is committed to providing them with the individualized service and comprehensive support that will put them on the path to long-term recovery from opioid addiction.

Our staff takes the time to get to know each patient so that we can help them identify their goals and determine the steps they need to take to achieve their objectives. We understand that every person is impacted by opioid addiction in a unique way, and we believe that everyone who is working toward recovery deserves a personalized experience while they are in our care.

Recovery from opioid addiction is a lifelong process that involves challenges, setbacks, and successes. Our focus on individualized care is designed to help patients learn the lessons and develop the skills that will serve them well for years to come.

I have been on Methadone for almost Twenty years, in those years I have been on a few programs in the greater Metropolitan area. Let me explain why I feel this program is the worst I have ever been on. The management from the top all the way down. They have an employee turn over rate that's side by side with fast food. I have been on this program for two years and have seen the Director interacting with patrons all of two times. Now I was informed he has been gone for awhile and the new director does not even come in at 5:30am when patients Start arriving She comes in at 9 or 9:30. The rules change daily or more like they are inforced at the convenience of the staff's management. The nurses and counselors do their best for the patients as they can with their hands tide. It makes no sense I can't talk to a nurse about my medical issues directly. They must go thru my counselor. Dose increases or detoxification have a line of red tape a mile long. This leaves way to much room for relapse. The counselors are treated like children. They are micromanage by people impressed with their own power. The counselor is supposed to speak for the patient and help advocate recovery in every aspect of the patients lives.  All I see are unsatisfied patients and a fully frustrated staff. The management of this program is its worst enemy. Let the counselors do their counseling job and let the nurses handle the medical side. How can a program expect their patients to recover when we are constantly treated like second hand trash and our counselors are no better. The people managing the staff needs to stop being impressed with themselves and the position of power they are in and look at how they can better this program for the patients and staff. With out patients you don't have a program. With staff being treated like shit from management the patients see this and any one serious about recovery are going to leave along with the good counselors and nurses.  If your an investor or CEO of this place and your reading this. Maybe you should ask the director what the fuck are they directing??

This used to be a good place for treatment but not anymore. Don't waste time or energy coming here. First of all they can't keep employees. Counselors can't really do anything when you have an issue within the clinic. They consistently change the rules to whatever they feel like. Save yourself the time & trouble.
