My older brother was at this facility in long term care until his passing in 2021. We found the staff to be professional and very courteous while he was under their care and communication was excellent regarding his care. We were highly impressed with Social Services Co-Ordinator, Laverne Tyree along with his nurse, Jordon.

My dad spent the last 9 months of his life at Genesis Pine Lodge and I am so glad for the great care he received while there. Although he was an independent sort not wanting to be in the nursing home at all; he admitted to me in several conversations that he was receiving very good care. All of the staff at Genesis Pine Lodge made my dad's last days comfortable and as pain free as possible. He had a whole "family" caring for him there and that is something I will always be grateful for!

My mother was a resident at Pine Lodge for 7 years. We were not able to care for her at home, and Pine Lodge is familiar, as they also cared for my grandmother many years ago. Mom was happy there. She loved the social activities and was well cared-for. As her dementia advanced, they were attentive, kind, and compassionate. I'm aghast at the negative reviews here. The comment about moldy food is unfounded. I was with my mother at dinner time several times per week. The residents were able to pick their entree and a list of foods was available around the clock. There will always be things a family member might believe they would do differently, and you won't always agree. However, Pine Lodge did what I could not. Not only did they take care of our mother, they cared for the rest of us. From billing, to activities, to social work, to the nursing staff, the concierge, PT, speech, administration, and everyone else on staff at Pine Lodge, I will always be grateful! Thank you for loving our mother!
