I’ve been going to Pine Rest now for over ten years. I used to get medication from my doctor until I switched doctors and my new doctor told me “I’m not a psychiatrist and I’d like you to see someone who knows all about mental health.” So she referred me to Pine Rest. I love that I can see both my psychiatrist and my therapist all in one location so they can communicate with each other to do what’s best for me! I’ve never had a single issue there except with one person and I handled that by switching to someone else. The receptionists are all super friendly and helpful. The medical assistants and nurses are very kind. I recommend this place every time I know someone needs to be seen. And it’s always clean and an inviting atmosphere. Thank you all!

I have always received a high level of care from Pine Rest and Dr. Kopanol. She listens well, asks me questions, explains things to me, and is happy to answer any questions I have. It is clean and the staff is nice. The phones are often busy, but If I leave a message they always respond the next business day at the latest.

I am going through a major depression and I called the Norton shores building for help April 5th. The receptionist was taking my information until I did not have the right insurance. She said they can't help me as I was crying. I asked is there any other place I can go for counseling? She said Google it!!! She was so rude after hearing I have the wrong insurance. People with suicidal thoughts need help regardless of their insurance.
