The other half of the dual-method approach consists of group and individual therapies designed to address the psychological aspects of drug addiction treatment. Overall, Pomarri recognizes that every individual is unique, and stresses a highly individualized, personal approach to drug addiction recovery. This program takes a dual approach to treatment, using medication-assisted treatment and drug detox along with therapies that address the underlying causes for drug addiction. Group and individual counseling takes place at a part-time, yet intensive pace on a schedule that allows you to continue to live your life. Like our intensive outpatient program, the day program exists to accommodate family and other personal obligations. This program meets weekdays from 11:00 to 3:30, allowing you to return to work or home in the evenings. The day program is ideal for those needing a step-down from inpatient or intensive outpatient treatment, or for those discharged from a drug detox program. Pomarri offers both drug detox and the appropriate therapies within the context of the day program. I completed a substance abuse evaluation for court and meet with Lena Kroeber. This office in general has amazing energy and staff. Meeting with Lena, she was so understanding. I felt like I was able to speak with her comfortably. I would definitely recommend Pomarri to anyone that is seeking help or is court ordered!

Best thing I have ever done is gettting into treatment at Pomarri. After a decades long alcohol addiction, for the first time I can say that I have hope. I have some sobriety time now and not one relapse since beginning my treatment here. They treat you differently here and actually truly truly care about your success.

Pomarri is a fantastic place if you are stuck in active addiction and have no idea how to get yourself out of it. cause that change in you life seems so scary 😨 to make that step to sobriety. these people will do anything and everything to help u find your way there in life to keep working and living a normal life as much as possible as u make those steps to a better life for u and you family they saved me and my wife together and we would not be where we are today if it wasn't for this place thanks so much.

My 2 months at Pomarri HAS changed my life! All of the staff are friendly and very professional. The group Facilaters are deverse, engaged, well prepared and interesting. The majority of the group meetings were very interesting and useful in changing behavior. There was always support from fellow group members because a lot of times it's very hard changing your behavior from being addicted. I am no longer required to go to primary for treatment but I will continue to go.

Pomarri is an outstanding drug and alcohol treatment facility for a multitude of reasons. They meet the client's exactly where they're at in their recovery and provide the support for them to take baby steps to regain footing and rebuild their lives biologically, socially and psychologically. Medication assisted treatment is a tricky or even tabooish thing in the industry, but I've seen firsthand for myself how it's transformed several individuals lives. Tara has been in the industry for double digit years, therefore has a wide ranged knowledge about chemical dependency, and that helps to have a dynamic approach for a multifaceted "not one answer/solution" problem. I will always think of Pomarri as family and people who advocate for my best interest, and grateful for my experience there and the support received!
