Port Recovery

Recovery from active chemical dependency is achievable, even for those feeling overwhelmed with despair and hopelessness. Port Recovery, Inc. currently operates eight recovery houses in the Hamilton area of Baltimore City. Our program provides a structured, clean and safe environment for recovering addicts and alcoholics. Here, a person can learn to live and function without the use of drugs and alcohol. We offer the opportunity to recover from active addiction by helping our clients become responsible, productive members of society. At Port Recovery we offer a "wrap-around" concept which includes a variety of programs: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for substance abuse counseling, licensed DWI/DUI Program, and our own Mental Health Group for various types of therapy. Port Recovery will work with parole, probation or detention departments for sentencing alternatives (i.e., home detention, sentencing to the program, drug court referrals...) We also work closely with several attorneys and can refer clients if necessary.

This program saved my life! Before I got into the program my life was on a downward spiral that was only going to land me in jail or dead. The professionals that work here are amazing people. I am currently working with Elaine Cook, Stephanie McKeown, and Phaedra Del Pino and all three of these ladies are the kindest, most compassionate, and helpful woman I have met. I really like this program and I think the counseling is great. I feel comfortable sharing in groups and I think we go over a lot of stuff for recovery and good content for recovery related help. I think someone looking for treatment would really benefit from this program. The counselors are amazing . Thank you so much Port recovery helping me so much.
