been here twice, might go again, only now leaving a review bc i think 2.6 stars is unfairly low. i have a low opinion of psychiatric institutions generally but this one definitely didn’t stand out as bad

Intensive outpatient is a joke, you sit in a zoom meeting and other patients give you advice they are unqualified to give. It's like sitting in an online class nobody wants to participate in and you have to have your camera on for some reason. Other people often dominate the conversation so unless you are already confident and comfortable with people you will be ignored.

My daughter’s care was transferred here post hospital discharge. The staff appear polite, but that is about the extent of it. I cannot help but wonder if they truly care besides crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s. As a family member who has dealt with the various support and therapy programs for my daughter in the past 15 years or so, I despair.... no communications are ever initiated from the psychiatrist, therapist, case worker from this facility, no true integrated treatment/care plan. The treatment methodology appears to be to dope them up, this facility failed my daughter( I believe she’s discharged in worse condition than when she went in.) and the tax payers; it falls to the bottom of the ranking of the 15 or so hospitalizations our family has lived through with my daughter. We need better care for patients with chronic psychiatric illnesses!

I actually had a very nice experience talking through my problems in group therapy, especially with Alex guiding me. I definitely would love to see him again in the future.
