Progressive Adult Rehabilitation Center, Inc.

Progressive Adult Rehabilitation Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1956 for the purpose of promoting the well-being of individuals with intellectual disabilities living the cities of Petersburg, Colonial Heights, Hopewell and the counties of Dinwiddie, Prince George, and southern Chesterfield – all in the state of Virginia.

Initially, our mission focused on providing services to children in the Petersburg and surrounding areas. In the 1970’s, our focus shifted to providing services to adults with intellectual disabilities. Over the years, the agency has had several name changes.

Today, we are best known as P.A.R.C. – Progressive Adult Rehabilitation Center, Inc.
