I used to think very highly of this place until recently. My husband has been a patient there for quite some time. When the therapist he was seeing left, it has gone down hill. Rebecca lied to me, telling me his new therapist was having certain conversations with him. And essentially was telling me my husband was lying to me. Which caused issues between him and I. Once I finally spoke to his therapist he told me that Rebecca did in fact lie to me and the conversations she told me he was having with him, they weren’t having them. When I questioned why I was lied too and why a place that is supposed to be about recovery and honesty they told me it was a “play on words”. I questioned what happens if there is an emergency and he can’t make a class being as we have five children and one car at the moment and sometimes I have places to be for myself or for my kids. I was told “it’s his responsibility to be here”. Um excuse me people have lives outside of there and no one is going to sit there and tell me if one of my children is in the hospital that he can’t be there. The best part is his therapist talks to him one way and tells him when something happens it’s okay and life happens and that talks to me completely different. They also are never on the same page about treatment. I had two different people telling me different dates of when he was going to be released from treatment. This is a recovery center and things should be the same no matter who the information comes from. Now just today his psychiatrist who he sees there as well sat there and told him that I have called multiple times regarding an issue we were having telling him I have called more than twice on a specific issue. Which then in return makes my husband not believe that I only called the times I told him about. So a place that is supposed to help people is causing more issues within a family. Absolutely horrible now and I can’t wait for the day he is finished his outpatient treatment there and we can go see a therapist outside from there who actually helps and cares about the patients. Not people who just want money.
