At RACSB, we are committed to helping community members lead the best lives possible. We help babies speak their first words and adults with severe mental illness take their first steps back into the community. Whether you have a brief bout of depression, a debilitating mental illness, or a crippling addiction, we have outpatient services to help. For adults with developmental disability and their families, we offer top-notch care. We have proudly served the Fredericksburg community since 1970, and we are here to help. Emotional well-being is the cornerstone of a full life. If you’re struggling with a mental health concern, help is here. From medication management to counseling to residential programs, RACSB offers quality, compassionate care. And we’re here whenever you need us: Emergency services and crisis intervention are offered around the clock. So when you’re ready to take the big step of asking for help, give us a call. We’ll explore your needs and connect you with outpatient therapy, group counseling, intensive care coordination, crisis services, medication management, recovery-based rehabilitation, and residential care. At RACSB, we are passionate about helping individuals with developmental disability lead full, active lives in our community. We believe that everyone can be served right here in the community and we provide high quality care on all levels. Our developmental disability support coordinators help individuals and their families choose their future and link them to the resources necessary to fulfill their hopes and dreams. In our day support programs, adults with developmental disability enjoy activities, trips, and learning experiences. Our residential programs give adults with developmental disability a place to call home–and a support system. Our respite program offers a mini-vacation for guests and for their caregivers. We’re here to help you reclaim your life, with an array of services to support you on your path to recovery. We offer help for adolescents and adults, with prioritized treatment for pregnant and parenting women. Our services include intensive outpatient group therapy, individual and family counseling, case management, drug-court treatment, detention-based treatment; and residential detoxification. When you’re ready to journey to hope and health, we will walk beside you and help you find the way. Watching your baby learn new things is one of the most rewarding aspects of parenthood. When your infant or toddler doesn’t meet developmental milestones, you can’t help but worry. We’ll help you learn if your child does have a delay. And, if there is a delay, we’ll show you how to help your child progress to their fullest potential. Our special educators, speech pathologists, service coordinators and physical and occupational therapists come to your home to work with your infant or toddler–and to teach you techniques for encouraging your child to blossom. We seek to promote mental wellness while reducing the problems related to alcohol, tobacco, or other drug use. We inform the community about the risks associated with these behaviors in a variety of ways, including workshops, educational campaigns, evidence-based curriculums, and collaboration with community groups. We recognize that achieving comprehensive community wellness requires a collaborative approach and we are proud to partner with other agencies and organizations to strengthen the health of our region.
